About the Artwork
Mariposa Lilies bloom in early July in the Okanagan. It is a rare treat to find these beautiful endangered wild flowers growing among the bunches of wild grasses and blanket of pine needles shed from Ponderosa Pine Trees. Their delicate mauve blossoms seem like graceful dancers suspended on tall delicate stems.
