The artist was hired to paint a forest in Port Renfrew where the client used to walk everyday with her late husband. She wanted a way to still see him there. To feel his presence. The fog and light invite the viewer to appreciate the space that someone used to take in a different plane and now takes in another. Spiritual painting if one wishes to see or a simple beautiful calming West Coast Landscape if one wishes to focus only on the tangible.
