This little silver pot was discovered in a small Ontario town's antique shop. It was slightly tarnished which adds to it's charm and is quite heavy for it's size. It was too small for a coffee pot and not the right shape for tea. When visiting the Chocolatarium in Edinburgh,Scotland I learned that hot chocolate is often served in espresso size cups and is quite thick. This discovery led me to believe this silver treasure was made to serve hot chocolate.
Shortly after this purchase, I was given a rainbow box of Macarons fresh from Paris by my eldest son and so the inspiration to paint began.
