This beautiful teapot, discovered in an antique shop, was going to be perfect for a painting I thought. Soon after I purchased it, I came across a local potter making handleless tea cups that were inspired by her recent journey to Japan. These items together inspired me to paint with an asian concept. The finishing touch was a beautiful antique golden frame that looked like bamboo which my framer found . This painting was a challenge and a joy from concept to completion.
