About the Artwork
This painting was painted en plein air (on location). I was close to the water, very close. I didn’t like how the water looked: brown and dull so I looked closely to my subject and saw colour in the grasses, the far trees and in the water, however faint. Sometimes, Mother Nature needs a little help.
