A mountain river bend surrounded by dense coniferous forest is a native sight for Canadians. The thick emerald color of the water caught my eye. It seemed like I couldn't see anything else but this color. Standing on a rock, I was dissolving into it, into this water and the rustle of trees. That day, I set up my easel at this spot.
