C$1,000
This piece is a mixed media semi-abstracted landscape, inspired by Canada's beautiful Great Outdoors, in particular the Winter snow-covered vistas I grew up loving in Ontario, near my childhood home. The cold, barren, sprawling landscapes somehow captured me every year, like the romanticized "winter wonderlands" of Christmas carols. This piece features layered paint, organic brushstrokes, and lots of textural elements through, such as gold metallic paper and gritty texture mediums for added interest.

"My aim is to capture brief moments in Nature's enduring history and translate them, along with the emotions they evoke within me, into paint on canvas. Sublime and somewhat veiled. Art allows us, as humans, to explore the mystery of the world around us and seek out tangible answers.""
