This moody piece was inspired by the ever-changing, rainy weather and sublime beauty of British Columbia's coastal landscapes/seascapes. It's atmospheric and full of movement, with varied brushstrokes and textural elements for added visual interest. My work aims to capture Nature, even if only as a brief moment in time, coloured by my own emotions and perspective. A sense of mystery and drama remains. This piece is created on a 1.5" deep gallery stretched canvas, and the sides are painted in a coordinating grey tone. It's signed, titled and dated on the back. Wired and ready-to-hang.

"My aim is to capture brief moments in Nature's enduring history and translate them, along with the emotions they evoke within me, into paint on canvas. Sublime and somewhat veiled. Art allows us, as humans, to explore the mystery of the world around us and seek out tangible answers.""
