About the Artwork
This stylized, expressionist painting weaves together real and imagined landscape elements to create a whimsical and bold interpretation of the subject. Stylistically, this work is an homage to Lawren Harris, one of my key influences. Discrete shapes, strong line and symbolic forms are what I am particularly drawn to in the artist's work.
