About the Artwork
The West Coast Trail is an amazing Vancouver Island adventure. Traversing vast beaches, scrambling over roots in the rainforest, meandering across boardwalks, climbing ladders and crossing rivers in cable cars - all part of this unforgettable trek! This image depicts a stop for the day. Trail entry in marked by buoys that have been washed up on to the shore and tied to the trees. Tents are up and weary hikers are preparing to enjoy an evening around the campfire.
