Living in the Fraser River delta, we border wetlands which are a nature preserve, so we’ve always had a good variety of visiting wildlife. At the start of Covid we added a finch feeder, and it made regular visitors of some of our favourites, including American Goldfinches and Red-breasted Nuthatches. The nuthatches are an absolute delight, with cheeky manners and dapper ochre waistcoats, and their flurry of Spring activity marks the return of warmer weather and lush blossom, in an ever-changing kaleidoscopic landscape.

"I strive to give permanent form to fleeting moments of grace. Favouring organic subjects, I enjoy exploring the idiosyncrasies that distinguish an individual. My devotion to studying the specific character of light and and its ability of light to transmute the quotidien into something remarkable remains constant throughout."
