Montague Provincial Park on Galiano Island draws people to view the sunset and often holds them into the night. Arbutus trees line it’s shoreline and their berries decorate the wintery season. If you stay long enough, you can catch their colours in the light of a setting moon.

Galiano Island, British Columbia
My work celebrates the beauty of Galiano Island and the rhythms of wild joy that connect everything in and around this little island. Recently I have been exploring the night sky, playing with the shapes of light and dark cast by the light of the moon.
""When painting our long narrow island I am tuned into the rhythms of open sky and ocean that weave through the tapestry of rock and forest connecting us all""
