About the Artwork
This breathtaking view was painted while standing on the edge of the iconic Island Lake 'I Dew Spot' in Fernie, BC. As I swung my brush I strived to capture the serenity of the location, all the while trying to forget that I was being eaten alive by black flies. I love to see the warm snow contrasted with the cool at the top of the mountains in the summer.
