About the Artwork
Some of my favourite plein air subjects are the plentiful wildflowers of BC. I am attracted to the splashes of colour on the mountainside and underfoot while hiking. Using juicy brushstrokes combined with hard and soft edges, I aim to capture the perfectly imperfect petals of these beneficial pollinators.
