About the Artwork
Every Breaking Wave was inspired by Tofino’s surfing vibe. I moved to Vancouver Island recently and as I’m an avid snowboarder, thought I’d try surfing. The fog rolled in and the visibility was next to none. I loved the mystic atmosphere and tried to capture that emotion in this oil painting.
