About the Artwork
The arbutus tree, one of many found on Vancouver island, stretches out toward to rocky shore. Created using an alkyd oil based liquid reactive paint which produces a number of different effects such as lacquered, marbled, hammered or honeycombed, and dries with the appearance of a ceramic tile.
