Several years ago, I attended an art workshop in Port Townsend, Washington.
While touring about the town I thoroughly enjoyed viewing many of its heritage buildings, and homes. This beautifully restored heritage home caught my eye. A stately home, in a pastoral like setting. Quietly enjoying the last rays of afternoon sun.
I considered this home as subject matter for a long period of time. Then it suddenly came to life for me while approaching it in a more imaginative, loose manner utilizing various mixed media.
