My student brought me this bunch of gorgeous Dahlias to class from her front garden. I rushed home to put them in a vase and found I loved the back light from the blinds that added just enough light through to enhance their colour plus their horizontal lines were a nice contrast to the soft rounded petals The peach colours I also found to be so endearing to paint.
