This grouping of striking wild birches frame the top ridge of road over the 13th hole of Fairwinds golf course. This is a view each golfer "gets" upon descending from greens across the road. On sunny days the manicured grasses offer lovely sunset glow beyond birches. This view always brings calm to my own golf game. I hoped here to remind my golfing friends of that special spot, and a feeling, when they are not golfing.
