As we got to the Canoe Launch on the other side of the woods we could see Silver Lake. This area was reserved for more natural camping. Motor boats didn't have access here. The sun was getting a bit lower, the cardinals, chickadees and squirrels were scolding us for disturbing their routines. You could smell the earthy smells, water, forest floor, decaying wood, Quiet and calm.
