A lazy day, looking south from the bridge down the road. Late afternoon sun blazing colour, especially on the bend. The river moseying along, no particular place to go as they say. Late summer colours beginning to pull the reds from the brilliant golds and greens. You can smell the august wildflowers along the bank. And some chickadees are feeding close chattering to each other. What lies around that Bend?
"Around the Bend" is third in my Concession Six Bridge Series. It represents
our area of South Western Ontario quite well. Farm country with winding rivers and lush green everywhere.
