About the Artwork
I was on a plein air trip at a beautiful farm when this scene caught my eye. I had no intention to paint it when I arrived but as the day progressed and light changed I saw a beautiful and unexpected scene unfolded before my eyes. The light hitting sweeping across the sprinkler itself and the reflected light in the wheels drew me immediately in.
