Born in 2008, Cove Silas is a young, home-schooled artist based in BC Canada. Since a very young age, he's always been fascinated with the beauty of creation continues to be fascinated with it to this day. Hes studied under renown artists including Daniel Gerhartz, Stephanie Paige Thomson, Andrew Tischler, and Deborah Tilby. Cove is an Exhibiting Member of the FCA and member of the OPA. In both consecutive years, 2024 and 2025, Cove received the OPA Shirl Smithson Memorial Scholarship. His work has received recognition both nationally and internationally. Cove's work won 1st in the FCA Fall Exhibition in both 2024 and 2025. In 2024, he received the Best Portrait Award from the Portrait Society of Canada's youth competition.
