Doreen Dyet is an established Ottawa area artist. She has been taking classes, painting and selling her art since the 1990s. After retiring from the Federal Public Service, she became more active in the arts community by volunteering on the executive of various art organizations and now paints full time. She is inspired by nature and her travels around the world.
She is a member of various art associations, has been juried into several shows and exhibits regularly in the Ottawa area. Her work can also be seen in her home studio by appointment or purchased online from her website.
She has created several commissioned pieces of work and many of her paintings are in private collections.
