A flat piece of paper my have no beauty, but fold it up, scrunch it, fan it out and it becomes a whole other matter. Light shines off its exposed surfaces and hides in its folds. This paper can take the shape of an animal, a flower a hat or whatever you decide. Craving nature in my citified space I chose the floral form.

Ann Carroll
Vancouver, British Columbia
Ann's work covers a variety of subject matter, most done in a realistic manner.
"I think I am an eclectic (maybe the better word is scattered!) painter. I paint whatever catches my attention. Hence, you will see a variety of subject matter on my pages. The unifying element is colour."
