In this work, I sought to capture the quiet majesty of snow geese returning north to breed in Quebec, their journey etched in the sky and reflected in the still waters below. Soft pastel hues evoke the gentle light of early spring, while the stark contrasts of shadows evoke the lingering chill of winter. The geese stand tall and alert, like sentinels guarding the threshold between seasons, their reflections redoubling their presence in a moment of perfect stillness. This is not only a portrait of migration, but also of homecoming—a reminder that instinct, memory, and the pull of the North are forces as ancient as the land and water that welcome them.

"« I cannot refrain from a totally abstract art that clings to nothing, yet pure realism bores me. My quest is to create an emotion of awe and wonder by incorporating whimsical or surreal elements, such as fantastical backgrounds or unexpected juxtapositions of color.""
