This is a spring scene from Pulpit Rock above Nelson, BC. I snagged a reference photo on a cloudy day when the sun starting streaming behind the clouds. Normally this is one of the busiest trails in town, but now it is empty and closed. I painting the empty bench and added the spring colours to invoke the feeling of waiting and the possibility of hope.
