Starting from childhood, when her grade school classmates complimented her detailed and accurate drawings of horses and grasshoppers, Sheila Manning has always embraced her artistic spirit and dreamt of becoming a painter.

After graduating from Capilano College’s Graphic Design Program, Sheila began a 30-plus year, successful graphic design and illustration career. During this time, Sheila also became an instructor at Capilano University and Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

Currently, Sheila works in the film industry and when on hiatus, she loves to paint the beauty that surrounds her in British Columbia.
