Georgia Edwards is an artist from Vancouver Island, Canada. She is excited to share the beauty of this Island and its wild inhabitants in her vibrant work. As a self taught artist, she especially enjoys exploring different mediums but prefers to work in colored pencil. They feature bold color and a focus of intensity from the gaze of the subject while trying to capture the conversation they’re having with us. It’s a slow, meticulous process with lots of detail. There are many layers of color built up to bring the animal to life.
She is an active member of The Canadian Federation of Artists, The Colored Pencil Society of America and The United Kingdom Colored Pencil Society.
