Catherine Taron works primarily in watercolour and acrylics, with some recent explorations in oil. She loves the natural beauty of Vancouver Island and is inspired by the play of light across its landscapes, the relationships of colour, and the transparencies of water and weather. Her aim is to capture the feelings of places she knows, with a specific memory or story in mind.
