Where I live in the Cowichan Valley, we normally don’t get much snow. I did this small watercolour, gazing out my front window, admiring a snowfall that accumulated after an unusual multi-day snow event. Since I was stuck at home, with too much snow to go anywhere, I decided to paint my front gate and count blessings for my indoor comfort.
