Sunette was born and raised in South African and obtained Fine Arts Degree at Pretoria University 1994 and Educational Diploma1995. After graduating she spent another 4 years in post graduation studies and had numerous opportunities to teach printmaking and drawing classes at University and beyond. Specializing in silkscreening she revelled in making large expressive prints. Sunette has travelled all over but continues to be inspired by her South African roots and also the current chapters of her life. Her work reflect her interest in symbolic visual dynamics of diversity of different cultures and the beauty within that contrast.
