Originally from Saskatchewan, Andrea S Fredeen is an oil painter based in northern British Columbia. Although oil is her favourite medium, Andrea also works with charcoal and watercolour.

She worked as a physiotherapist for many years while pursing her lifelong interest in art, achieving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Northern British Columbia and Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2014), and a Master of Arts in English (2016), with a creative thesis that includes her short stories and paintings.

Andrea and her husband live in Prince George, BC.
