Donna was born and raised in the Peace River region of northern British Columbia. She studied visual arts at Thompson Rivers University and Northern Lights College and considers herself blessed to have spent time in Ireland painting in a castle.

Donna enjoys expressive mark-marking and combining mediums. She is a printmaker and also works in watercolour, pastel, encaustics and clay sculptures.

She has exhibited her work internationally including having work travel through Portugal, Spain, France and England.
