On a trip up the coast of Vancouver Island, to Cowichan Bay, I took a photo of this local fisherman’s boat in the beautiful grey mist. The light flattened everything and made the colours even richer somehow. I wanted to capture the feeling of that wet foggy morning. A feeling of stillness and quiet contentment.
