About the Artwork

Each panel creates a mood from living to death of a resting wolf in the forest.. In the first panel he sleeps peacefully.. The second panel creates an atmosphere of deep emotion as the wolf is shot . In the last he lies dead. These panels were made in this way to help the audience to experience the impact of that moment with feeling. Panels were made using 5 aluminum lithograph plates. The 4th and 55th panel were sketched with lithograph pencil. Pastels were used to colour each of the finished works after they came off the press.
