When I paint at the cottage, I unconsciously choose colors from nature - the sky, the water and the trees. This is a simple colour study in blue and yellow. Not exactly complements but almost. Usually I would continue to add some linework, marks and perhaps collage, but this one seemed to be enough without those additions. Like nature, sometimes the simplest, raw patterns are enough.

I am an abstract painter. I would describe my work as bold and energetic. Making abstract art is one way I connect to a deeper part of myself. Through a playful approach and a focus on process, I make art that speaks from my soul.
"Express yourself through art that is energetic and hopeful. Art attracts you by speaking to some feeling inside of you. I make art to inspire and to bring joy!"
