About the Artwork

(please note, the unframed dimensions entered about represent the image area only, and do not factor in any white space)
This print is part of my Heron Road series: a body of work documenting a year-long road trip across North America. We travelled from BC to Newfoundland and then back through the southern USA, keeping to back roads and living in small truck camper.

Leighton Lake, one of two high-elevation man-made lakes in the Tunkwa Plateau of the Thompson/Shuswap area of British Columbia, rests among rolling grass-covered hills and wild flower meadows, bordered here and there by woodland.
