About the Artwork
At the northern most point of Haida Gwaii, the Hiellen River makes its way to Dixon Entrance. The sea grasses seem to float as the tide rises in the estuary. For me, a beautiful and calming sight. This painting was done directly from a 6"x6" on location study.
