About the Artwork
In the language of flowers, the Lily seems rife with meaning and symbolism... everything from sympathy and mourning to power and passion. "Lilies Unfolding #2" endeavours to create a lyrical space in which the viewer can open and 'unfold' to whatever meaning or feeling they might perceive is being held in these emotionally loaded flowers.
