About the Artwork
I painted this portrait of my Italian boyfriend Giuseppe. We both have a fascination with 19th century history and especially clothing styles. I painted him wearing a 1880s suit, red waistcoat, tie and pocket watch, trying to match a John Singer Sargent style.
