About the Artwork
I spent an afternoon walking around Solwezi market in Zambia. Vibrant in every way - colour dancing between bodies, sounds overlapped in symphony, the tapestry…the feel. A place for gathering, selling and collecting. In the bustle, a mother gracefully flows through the commotion with her child on her back, ready to return home.
