While in Tahiti in 2022 I witnessed the greeting of these two women. I don't know who they were or their relationship to one another but I felt privileged to be a witness to such a tender and intimate moment.

Barb is a mainly self directed artist who works in multiple media including colored pencil, acrylic and oil. Although she has been a realist for many years she has begun exploring abstraction as a way to expand her creativity and push her art forward.
