Barb is a primarily self taught artist who has taken many courses and workshops over the years including the Visionary Artist Master Program with Kristy Gordon. She works in multiple media including colored pencil, acrylic and most recently oil. Her work has been exhibited in both juried and non juried shows around the North Okanagan. Although she has always been a realist focusing on both human and animal forms she has begun to explore abstraction as way to expand her creativity. When not in her studio she can be found running on the trails around Vernon with her dog.
