Towering above Vermillion Lakes, at sunset, the striking western face of Mt. Rundle, in Banff National Park, Canada, is spectacular. A cascade of emotions flood the mind at once: awe and respect, power and majesty, peace and stability. The beauty of nature's feast is unparalleled. Mt. Rundle extends for over 12 kilometers and has 7 distinct peaks. Inspired by the Artist's many trips to this area, the need to paint this Rocky Mountain icon, was overpowering!
