Caught by the Wind
I bought a little square pot with a windflower (anemone) budding. It was placed in a sheltered spot and promptly forgotten. One day I returned from being away for several weeks, and along my path I spotted this beautiful flower swaying in the breeze on a tall stem and realized that I had never planted it properly. I was so happy to get to see it blooming!

Every day I experience something in nature that invokes a response: a need to create and express an instance in time. I love the challenge of creating texture, reflection, and light. I'm grateful to live where this is evident in abundance each day.
