Kathleen Theriault is an award-winning contemporary abstract painter, instructor, and mentor whose career spans decades and continents. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art, she is a Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Having lived in Australia, Indonesia, and India, her international experiences shaped her deep commitment to creativity and community. Now based on Pender Island, BC, Kathleen’s art is inspired by the Salish Sea, celebrating its tides, wildlife, and natural rhythms. Her work has been exhibited widely and honored with awards, including the Bold Brush Award for Abstract Painting in 2020.
