Kathleen Theriault AFCA
Pender Island, British Columbia
Kathleen Ellen Theriault resides on Pender Island, BC Canada and paints at her studio on the shore of the Salish sea. She is an experienced award winning artist who teaches, exhibits nationally and is a signature member of The Federation of Canadian Artists. She describes her works as being an intuitive response to a mood or experience. Employing an expressive painterly approach, Theriault’s abstract land and seascapes convey a sense of place, mood and atmosphere. In her artistic process she most often employs oil and cold wax, water media and collage on paper, canvas or wood.
“Go with the flow and paint like nobody is watching!”
