About the Artwork

The Lake O'Hara area is unsurpassable for the beauty it holds. Here on Opabin Plateau, the trails wander through larches, and past small tarns that are as clear as crystal. I painted this one as an anniversary gift for my husband so it isn't for sale, but I'd love to do another one.

Cecilia Lea

Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia

Cecilia uses oils and acrylics to record places she has visited during her years hiking and enjoying Canada's beautiful landscapes. Her aim is to capture each scene in a 2 dimensional form for others to also appreciate.

""The mountains are my prime inspiration. Our natural world can bring so much peace to our souls if we just take the time to absorb and appreciate it. Painting is one way I do that, with the hope of sharing that feeling with others.""
