Cecilia has been an artist for over 30 years. Her preferred medium is oils. She strikes a good balance between photo-realism and impressionism, presenting views that are expansive and lush but that remain firmly rooted in reality. Many of her paintings express vast landscapes which focus toward a central vanishing point, drawing the viewer physically into the scene. Being a hiker and a bit of a climber in her younger years, she has a good understanding of the mountains, which is evident in her landscape pieces.
